Terpene Testing

Unlock the aromatic profile of your cannabis products with precision terpene analysis.

Terpenes are the essential oils that give cannabis its distinctive aroma, flavor, and synergistic effects. At our laboratory, we use validated analytical methods to provide accurate identification and quantification of a wide range of terpenes found in cannabis flower, oils, and concentrates.

Our terpene analysis is performed using Gas Chromatography with Flame Ionization Detection (GC-FID), following our in-house validated method (LAB-MTD-007). This approach ensures high sensitivity and specificity for more than 20 major and minor terpenes commonly present in cannabis, including:

  • Myrcene

  • Limonene

  • β-Caryophyllene

  • Linalool

  • Pinene (α and β)

  • Terpinolene

  • Humulene

  • Ocimene

Why Test for Terpenes?

  • Product differentiation: Help your consumers choose strains based on aroma and effect.

  • Quality assurance: Ensure consistent terpene profiles batch to batch.

  • Regulatory compliance: Meet product labeling and export requirements.

  • Research & formulation: Understand entourage effects and optimize formulations for targeted experiences.

We analyze raw materials, dried flower, vape products, and cannabis oils. All testing is done under strict quality control procedures to ensure data reliability and reproducibility.
